Artemis II Crew Preps for Lunar Mission
NASA continues preparations for Artemis II, the first crewed mission to orbit the Moon in over 50 years. The mission is scheduled to launch from Kennedy Space Center.
Four astronauts will fly around the Moon aboard the Orion spacecraft, testing systems for future lunar landings. The crew has been training extensively for the historic mission.
Mission Objectives
Artemis II will verify life support systems, demonstrate crew operations, and gather data for Artemis III, which aims to land astronauts on the lunar surface.
